We will provide your event organiser with a guide and a 30 minute telephone call where we will discuss the specific details of your booking. We will send you PDF’s of all the communication required including: posters; teasers; email text and a staff booking sheet if required. The event includes four zones:
• Healthy Eating
Interactive display which includes personal measurements and a brief overview of the ‘Eatwell Plate’ to promoting the concept of ‘small changes for big rewards’. Scores available at this zone are as follows: Height, weight (BMI) and
waist circumference
• Pressure Management
Interactive zone looking at signs and symptoms of stress and appropriate coping strategies. Activities include bio dots and stress questionnaire. There is also a option to link your advisory and counselling helpline. The tests available at this zone is as follows: Blood pressure testing
• Men’s and Women’s Health
This area is based on the European Code against Cancer (2003). Staff identify their personal health risks, rating and investigating lifestyle changes that will make a significant difference in their chances of developing avoidable cancers. Scores available at this zone include:
Smokerlyzer and alcohol units
• Physical Activity
The aim is to explain how to achieve moderate intensity physical activity with a varied approach that should include habitual lifestyle activity. As part of the session we will also aim to deliver mini energizer sessions. Scores available at this zone are as follows: Grip test; lung function;
