Sleep for a Better Tomorrow

This session helps you understand the role sleep plays in your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing, and why good sleep habits are crucial. Learning outcomes for this 1-hour session are as follows:

  • Recognise what sleep actually is and how sleep cycles work.
  • Explain why we need sleep and how much is needed.
  • What affects our sleep and what happens if we are sleep deficient.
  • Discuss impact of sleep disturbances.
  • Recognise how poor sleep will impact on mental health including anxiety and stress.
  • Creating a sleep diary.
  • Tips for a better sleep, including creating a good sleep environment.

Change, the Future and Managing Anxiety

Change is inevitable for most of us but we rarely get the opportunity to prepare ourselves to manage any uncertainty that change can induce. This is a great interactive session that will help all those who attend to be more aware of their behaviours around change and, importantly, how change affects the behaviours of those around us. During this session we will look at:

  • Recognise how we react to change.
  • Understand why we experience anxiety.
  • Discuss tolerance levels and how they can impact different people.
  • Complete a tolerance review activity.
  • Discuss methods to improve tolerance levels and manage anxiety more effectively.

Men's Health

Whilst the content is men’s health, anybody can join this webinar, that will look at all the key health considerations associated with men, namely:

  • Prevalent cancers and screening services.
  • Self-examination, signs, symptoms and early detection.
  • Mental health, including andropause.
  • Risks around diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.
  • Immune system.
  • Maintaining a healthy weight and body shape.
  • Drugs, Smoking and Alcohol.

Women's Health

Whilst the content is men’s health, anybody can join this webinar, that will look at all the key health considerations associated with men, namely:

  • Prevalent cancers and screening services.
  • Self-examination, signs, symptoms and early detection.
  • Mental health, including post-natal depression.
  • Menopause.
  • Risks around diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.
  • Immune system.
  • Maintaining a healthy weight and body shape.
  • Drugs, Smoking and Alcohol.

Heart Health

One in four of us in the UK and one in three globally die from heart and circulatory diseases. This session looks at what we can do to protect our heart health and improve these figures, including:

  • The facts about heart health.
  • The risks around heart and circulatory disease.
  • Top tips to reduce your risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.
  • Developing healthy behaviours – avoiding diabetes is achievable.
  • Goal setting for a better tomorrow.
