Looking after the wellbeing of your workforce during the winter months can be an ongoing challenge. However, the NL Winter Protection Programme is designed to offer your business and employees peace of mind, by safeguarding against two leading causes of absence.
Why not protect your employees from the highly infectious flu virus? Seasonal flu is one of the main causes of short-term sickness absence. For most employees the symptoms will last for up to two weeks and have a detrimental impact on both presenteeism and absenteeism, with estimated costs to the UK economy of £29bn every year.
We offer 3 approaches for vaccinations:
• Onsite Flu Vaccination Clinics
• Flu Vaccination Voucher Scheme
• Combined Onsite Flu Vaccinations and Vaccination Vouchers
Vitamin D is often referred to as ‘the sunshine’ vitamin as our body creates Vitamin D from direct sunlight on our skin when we are outdoors. From about late March to the end of September, most people should be able to get all of the Vitamin D they need but, in the winter months Vitamin D may drop to insufficient levels. Many of us that are not exposed to winter sunshine may become Vitamin D deficient. Apart from bone and muscle health issues, levels of deficiency can also impact on energy levels and performance.
Our Vitamin D testing and awareness programme provides up to 25 tests per practitioner and allows sufficient time to raise awareness of Vitamin D management. Employees receive their results within 15 minutes and have the opportunity to discuss ways in which to maintain or improve their score. Where necessary our practitioner will make a referral to the attendees GP.
We provide pre-event support in the form of pdf posters, a fully automated online booking platform and a detailed evaluation report within four weeks of your event.
